I’ll never forget the first time I saw Bob and Shelley dance at our 2008 Del Mar Office Holiday Party. The two of them were amazing out there on that floor and Bob was the life of the party (as usual, so I’m told) . . . . before anyone knew it, half the office was line dancing!! That is how I will remember Bob.

Remembering Bob
“I’ll always be with you”
Dear Shelley and the Kids,
We are so Sad for your loss and hope through GOD grace and love you”ll have the peace and strength to celebrate Bob’s Life. Please find comfort with this….
I am always with you
When I’m gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.
I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much you’ve given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone
So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must
Then let your grieve be comforted by trust
That it is only for a while that we must part,
So treasure the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear
All my love around you soft and clear
And then, when you come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile and a “Welcome Home”
Love,
Farida, Chris and the boys (Austin, Quinn and Cameron)

Sweetest man on earth
Though I never had the pleasure to meet Bob if he was anything like his Mother He had to be the sweetest man on earth. Words can’t describe my deepest sympathy for the Gerber Family. I’m so sorry to hear of your lost Carol my prayers are with you and your family at this most sorrowful time. God Bless!

Neighborhood friend
Bob and my son, Mark, were always thinking up pranks as they enjoyed Schwietzer Elem, Stevenson Jr. High and John Glann HS. Their adventures and compeitions always amazed Carol and me. We often enjoy the memories of watching them grown into great young men: Bob with his silver trumpet and Mark on the drums made some adventures a challenge. He so loved his baby sister Kim, son Alex, and Leah. Bob will be missed.
