Recent Referral

May 14, 2012 By //  by mco

Bob and I crossed swords years’ ago and I came to understand that Bob would always win, which was a really hard thing to come to peace with except he was exceptionally gracious and professional in the process. Bob referred a case to me which ended up in a successful result at the California Supreme Court (remember the case came from him) so it was an easy decision a few weeks ago to call Bob and see if he could take a case in which a Judge said I could not handle. Now being removed from a case helps to focus one’s attention to finding a replacement who is going to win for the client. I called Bob, of course, and I was so grateful he took the case since I knew my removal would had caused the client to experience a representation upgrade which would lead to a successful outcome. With only these brief professional experiences to draw on I cannot imagine the grief of Bob’s family and many close friends.
